Huub van Zwieten has a special message for people who are visiting Amsterdam, this Friday:
For those special people, who want to share and celebrate life, the Evening of Abundance is the ultimate party. Free of charge, free drinks, food, acts and bands. After TEDx Amsterdam at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam.
There’s only one condition to obtain one of the 1.000 places on the guestlist: you have to donate a minimum of EUR 100 to a charity of your own choice. This way all the guests of the Evening donate at least EUR 100.000 to charity, while celebrating life on the Evening of Abundance.
Initiator Huub van Zwieten: “Thinking from abundance is focussing on what you have, instead of what’s missing. And realise that you have more than enough, even to share with others. Your network, your passion, your talents and also your financial resources. If we can think and act from abundance together, and not from scarcity, there’s more than enough reason to celebrate life in abundancy!”.
Choose your own charity
Although it’s a condition to make a donation, guests can support the charity of their own choice. The organisation of the event is not even a party in that. Whether you like to support bigger charities like Warchild, Cordaid or any other of the partnering charities. You can even support homeless people with a proper dinner or make a contribution to a neighbour in need. As long as you’re able to proof you contribution to the organisation, you are kindly invited to the event.
Abundant party
The abundancy team, with partner Rishis (Club of Free Souls of a.o. the famous full moon party’s), turns the Westergasfabriek into a Temple of Abundance, where Eastern mystic mixes with western welbeing. The guests (dresscode: overdressed) can enjoy a collection of suprises: sparkling drinks, great food and beverages, fruit, oisters, chocolate. They can even relax with a massage, dance, tarotconsult, bellydance or footreflex. Or party on with famous DJ’s and VJ’s, great bands like the Boston Tea Pary, saxophoneplayer Tom Beek and other surprises. Everything fully free of charge for those who are willing and able to share and donate!
The evening is ending with a spectaculair finale, which will make the end of the crisis definite!
