Jacob Gelt Dekker is a modern day explorer with an entrepreneurial spin and above all a philanthropist. Gelt Dekker’s entrepreneurial successes include hotels, art companies, music businesses and one-hour photo shops. Jacob Gelt Dekker circumnavigated the world more than 50 times and spends a minimum of six months in each area in order to absorb the culture and “get to know the people.” Currently the serial entrepreneur devotes himself to creation of the resort Kura Hulanda in Curacao.
