A special crowd of people gathered in the Rijksakademie Amsterdam yesterday night. From the founder of rock festival Lowlands Eric van Eerdenburg to venture capitalists and from the editor in chief of daily newspaper Sp!ts Bart Brouwers to philanthropist (and TedxAmsterdam speaker) Jacob Gelt Dekker, they were all there with one goal: making TedxAmsterdam a huge success.
Discussion topics were the guest list (how can we prevent disappointment), possible media partnerships, the video streaming and two exciting competitions (more on that soon!). TedxAmsterdam president Jim Stolze got stuck in a traffic jam, yet he kept himself entertained by admiring the incoming guest list entries – from doctors to artists.
