This is absolutely the week of LHC. Every newspaper, every television show and nearly every tweet has something to do with the world’s biggest and most ambitious experiment ever: the large Hadron Collider in Cern, Switzerland.
You probably know allready what they’re hoping to find there: more information about the higgs particle. Take a look at this (18 minute) TED-talk.
It is the story of professor Brian Cox, who I met last year at TED. And besides being a former pop-icon and now a brilliant scientist, Brian is also a gifted storyteller.
You can find more information about the LHC on Twitter, and here’s the official TED-page of this talk.
