Bart Koolen is an illustrator who thinks in concepts, and who has a strong preference for challenging projects. He works on posters, logos, animations, films, packages, photos, books, stickers, house styles and more. He works as a designer through his company apbart, and for the Nederlands Gebarencentrum (Dutch centre for sign language).

How can one survive without sound? Bart lost his hearing as a child. In his presentation he will share his observations on the reality of deafness, in a presentation full of humour and vision.
