This year the TEDxAmsterdam organization initiated the TEDxAmsterdam Challenge initiative. Many great ideas have been submitted and more are expected. One of these ideas worth doing will win the TEDxAmsterdam Award.
To help make this award even better, we ask you to make a donation, no matter how small – because small things can make big things happen. In the spirit of TED we’d like you to be creative in how you raise the money, so sell your old bicycle or collect old papers, ask your colleagues to give or get your company to donate, make music or perform. Do what you do best and donate your efforts to making great things possible. Submit your donation by clicking on the donate button and filling in the form. The 3 most creative donations will win a ticket to TEDxAmsterdam on November 30th in the Stadsschouwburg.
Do you have/know a project that should win this award? Then you can submit this project here. The selection committee will select the best 3 projects, and winners will be invited to TEDxAmsterdam. From 13th of November we will ask you to vote for one of the 3 projects you think deserves the TEDxAmsterdam Award the most. The project with the most votes at 7:00 pm on 30 November will be awarded the TEDxAmsterdam Award. The person winning this award will be invited next year to give a talk about the results.
We ask you to keep in mind the following things we’ll be looking for. The project should:
- Inspire people
- Have a significant positive impact on the lives of people or the planet
- The prize money should transform an idea into reality or significantly accelerate the expansion of the idea.
