The architecture of DUS goes beyond building. To DUS, architecture has social significance. DUS builds Public Architecture: Architecture that influences the public domain using scale 1:1 models, urban process- and strategy design, and that ranges from temporary interiors to long-term urban transformation trajectories.
On a universal scale WORLDMOON is such a strategy design. A theory where science and fiction intertwine. The story of WORLDMOON will explain how a global cemetery will eventually provide comfortable life on the moon.
The project WORLDMOON is part of MoonLife: The MoonLife project is an initiative of ALICIA FRAMIS to design products and concepts for future human life in space. All products of well known and upcoming artists and designers are exhibited in the MoonLife Concept Store which is travelling around the globe. First opening of the store will be in Shanghai, 11th of December. Next shop will be in the Nai in Rotterdam.
