Our Little Black Book

Last year, to reward our volunteer team, the master craftsmen at bookbindery De Distelkamp oiled their presses to help us create a special momento for all the hard work that went into our event. Wim Kamsteeg practises the age-old craft of bookbinding – one that we hope doesn’t disappear fast with the advent of the e-book. Wim embossed each of the beautiful TEDxAmsterdam moleskin diaries by hand to create a stunning limited edition set. Extra effort went into getting exactly the right ‘TEDx red,’ and it’s that kind of attention to detail that we loved.

The TEDxAmsterdam 2010 team is now mostly complete – we have an ace Experience Team, a totally professional communications crew, and we have enlisted top talent for production, design, and publishing projects. However, we are still very interested in hearing from volunteers that have specific skills or ideas, as well as companies who are willing to offer their services free of charge – we are a foundation after all, and rely on your support to help create our event. Feel free to contact Jim Stolze (jim@tedxamsterdam.nl) if you have suggestions to make. And who knows, next year you may even get your own dedicated TEDxAmsterdam gift!
