The TEDxYouth engine is running at full speed again. Preparations are underway for the next TEDxYouth Event: Bringing Ideas Alive. This year the event will take place on November 20th at the NEMO Science Center in Amsterdam. And again we can count on the cooperation of volunteers of the young (Z), the X and the Y generations. It is a group of people who inspire and motivate each other in a joint creative process.
We can hardly wait for the 20th of November to arrive! On that day NEMO will be filled to the brim with 200 ideas of young talent. The event ‘Bringing Ideas Alive’ is also made possible by the business partners, who wish to offer these young people a platform for their ideas. It would therefore be a pity if the two parties would not meet. Which is why TEDxYouth has come up with the following idea:
September 29th – Network Meeting for Partners & Young Entrepreneurs
The growing need for knowledge sharing and cross-fertilization between young entrepreneurs and experienced business partners has brought forward the idea of introducing the two to each other. On September 29th we will hold a Network Meeting, in which the business community will have a chance to meet face to face with the new generation – whom they support for 100%!
This meeting, which will mark the opening of the annual TEDxYouth Conference, will be carried out in the true spirit of TED: inspiring, sharing and interacting.
Bringing the two parties together will result in on-the-spot inspiration. The partners will be able to help the young participants with their future business, the young entrepreneurs of TEDxYouth will in their turn introduce the world of tomorrow into the business community.
The highlight of the day will be the pitches of the enthusiastic young entrepreneurs (aged 14-18 years), who will present their ideas for a (future) business.
BuddyBuddy2 programme
But there is more. The interaction doesn’t have to stop here. It can be continued. A typical TED idea: Mutual Inspiration. The business people and the young upcoming entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to form BuddyBuddy2 teams, in order to inspire each other professionally during one year.
Bringing Ideas Alive’s Network Meeting and BuddyBuddy2 programme are meant for young upcoming entrepreneurs to present their view of the world to experienced business people. A clear vision of the future can contribute to the success of innovative businesses.
