Pep Rosenfeld, co-founder and artistic director at Boom Chicago

Pep Rosenfeld is one of the founders of Boom Chicago, Artistic Director and co-creator of their current productions ‘Social Media Circus’ and ‘9/11 Forever.’ He was the host of TEDxAmsterdam 2010, and returns this year as a speaker.

Rosenfeld writes tailored presentations and campaigns for companies as well as hosts events like Next, PICNIC and Spin Awards. He is a political junkie, interested in current events in America, the Netherlands and Europe. Rosenfeld with fellow comedian (Comedy Central News anchor) Greg Shapiro and director Andrew Moskos, have created hit political comedy shows like ‘Yankee Go Home: Americans and Why You Love to Hate Us’ (2002), ‘Mr. America Contest: A Comedy Show about the U.S. Presidential Race’ (2004), ‘Bye Bye Bush’ (2008), and ‘Political Party’ (2010) with Maurice De Hond.

He is co-owner of the Chicago Social Club, the night club, late night bar and theater on Amsterdam’s Leidseplein with Casper Reinders (Jimmy Woo, Lion Noir) and Joris Bakker and Pieter de Kroon (creators of Bitterzoet).
