Last year a couple of TEDxAmsterdam Crew-members all came up with the same idea: “Listening to speakers is great, but helping them is even better.” For that reason, in 2010, both TEDxYouth (NEMO) and TEDxChange (Dialogues House) had chosen ideas worth doing as their motto. On stage at TEDxAmsterdam 2010 Jim Stolze proudly gave an update about some of the many ideas that had been realized through the power of the TEDx Community since.
Launch of a new program
The response was overwhelming. Many guests told us that they wanted to do ’something back’. Or that they were so inspired by a speaker that they wanted to know how they could bring the ideas even further. That’s why we’re proud to launch the Ideas Worth Doing Program on April 5th!

On that day -to coincide with the MediaParade at Sanoma Headquarters- Ilse Kerling will unveil which speakers have been selected for the 2010 program and how our community can contribute to this new idea-movement.
The Ideas Worth Doing-program will feature both physical and virtual connections. Right now we’re talking to partners to see where and when these meetings will take place. Please stay tuned on our website, because this is the place where we will be giving updates and where we will ask for your help.
