TEDxAmsterdamLive recap

On Wednesday the 2nd of march some 300 people gathered in the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg to watch the TED2011 livestream and enjoy a locally organized program with speakers and musical performances.

We started watching TED2011 at 17.30, after which we started our local programming hosted by Andrew Makkinga.

What happened during the simulcast breaks? We kicked things off with a little movie we are very proud of. The guys from PlusOneAmsterdam (seated front row) created this year’s official TED opening movie.

On top of that we were honored with performances by Janice Wong on her cello, the lovely Celine Cairo and Andy. The latter two even came back to play extra songs for the enthusiastic audience.
