The TEDxAmsterdam Award is our annual idea competition to support great ideas. We are looking for ideas that inspire, have a significant positive impact on the lives of people and have a link with the Netherlands. The winner receives access to our community and may present the idea to our audience in the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg on November 30th.

The 30 best entries have pitched their idea to an expert jury on October 1st, who have picked the finalists. This expert jury consists of board level respresentation from KPN, ING, Deloitte, Shell, Philips, McKinsey, and professors of the universities of Leiden, Eindhoven and Delft. This jury selected the top 10 finalists. Please take a look at an overview of these ideas in this Volkskrant article.

All 30 nominees have got the chance to participate in a day-long innovation workshop by Deloitte to help their project further.

In the final round an exclusive TEDxAmsterdam jury will select the winning idea or project to be announced at the TEDxAmsterdam event on November 30th 2012. Exciting times!
